Stillwater Bathroom Renovation
The owners of this Queen Anne Victorian home wanted a new bathroom that would reflect the formal elegance of the home itself. To create a bright and airy environment the ceiling was vaulted and light now pours in from a window in the vaulted space where ceiling beams were added for more interest. A generous ceramic shower was added, featuring a clear glass enclosure. Marble floor tile, paneled doors and detailed wainscoting provide old world charm while the arched top transom windows allow additional light to pour into the space. The culmination of this project is the elegant “His and Her” island vanity. Featuring exotic woods, floating oval mirrors and granite top, this piece was custom built by the maker of heirloom furniture and punctuates the look and feel of the Victorian Era.
