Braden Construction featured in AIA Minnesota home tour

Braden Construction works closely with architects on many of our Minneapolis home remodel projects. The collaborative effort produces amazing results and clients are consistently happy, from the starting planning phases to the final product.

Each year the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Minnesota – a leading nonprofit association for architects – sponsors a home tour to showcase local talent. In addition to seeing some amazing home transformations, those who attend the tour learn first-hand the value of working with a team of qualified experts, including an architect.

This year’s tour took place Sept. 21-22, and Braden Construction was honored to sponsor home No. 12 located at 303 Elmwood Place West, Minneapolis, MN 55419. Braden worked with the experts at TEA2 Architects to reach the client’s remodel goals.

  • The homeowners had several goals for this project, including:
  • An updated, formal entrance.
  •  A visual connection between the entranceway and other areas of the home.
  •  A master bath addition.

The broadest side of the home faces Gladstone Avenue – this portion was transformed with a facelift and addition. A new front porch better defines the entranceway which leads into the home, where thoughtful design highlights a remodeled kitchen and staircase. Strategic use of natural light was a key element in the design concept. Upstairs, the new master bath features sleek lines and built-in cabinetry that gives a modern touch to the space.
