Our Story

A note from the owner of Braden Construction;

Back in 1982, my wife and I returned to Minnesota from a yearlong sabbatical at a youth camp located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York.  The early '80s were challenging economic times for our country.  For carpenters, like me, jobs were scarce, to say the least. Wages were half of what I was making before we left.

But with the help of friends and family, I was able to acquire small projects that helped pay the bills.  Oh, did I mention we were expecting our first child?

One job led to another, and after a couple of years, I had enough work to hire a few carpenters.  Then one day, it dawned on me: I was the owner of a business. How did that happen?  I gave my new enterprise a name and Braden Construction was born.

Over the past 30+years, our little construction company has gone from me working out of my basement to an 8,000-square-foot office, shop and warehouse facility.  We've come from a single employee to, at times more than 25.  Our work load has included both residential and commercial construction.  As you can see, we've come a long way and our wide-ranging projects include:

*Custom homes

*Residential remodeling

*Commercial building and remodeling

Of course I could not have accomplished all of this without our skilled and loyal office staff, project managers and carpenters.  Their expertise is what makes Braden Construction one of the most trusted residential and commercial builders in the Midwest.

The process of developing Braden Construction has been a satisfying journey.  Now, when I can, I try and give back through an organization called SCORE, which assists people who are interested in starting their own business.  Through SCORE, I can help other small business owners achieve their dreams.

After all these years, I still take pride in every project we complete. Attention to detail and a commitment to quaulity are the keys to making our business work.  Our team looks forward to helping you on your next building project.
